The beauty of a pipe organ is evident in the majestic sound it produces. Watson Pipe Organ Co. was established in 1929 by Russell L. Watson.
Russell was a trained theater organist from Knox College. His love for the pipe organ transformed into the art of rebuilding, restoring and installing organs throughout the Midwest. He trained and worked with his son Richard S. Watson and Myron Hovind for several decades. Richard passed on his skills and craftsmanship to his son Dusti Watson by the end of the 20th century. Fixed a dead organ in Wenona, IL today. Checked the air switch first, but found a loose DC connection and a blown fuse in the rectifier. The organ is up and running again.
