The Protein Plug

Right now, our community is hurting, and our city is bleeding. The Protein Plug was built for the people, and we refuse to stay silent when our neighbors are unsafe.

We stand firmly with immigrants and anyone striving to build a better life with dignity. No matter your background, race, or status, you belong here.

We will continue to use our platform to advocate, protect, and lift up those around us.
We see you, we support you, and we’ve got your back, always. 🖤✨

A great business. Stand with our people 🙏

Hello everyone, I’d like to come on here and express my gratitude for everyone who’s reached out and checked on our team! ❤️

I also want to express my deepest appreciation to our team members for the bravery they had this morning. We did have federal ice agents come into the restaurant. They did come in with civilian clothing and after confirming the vehicle’s, we did learn they were ice agents. I felt we were given a choice, do we allow fear to guide our choices or do we use our voice to say no. I should have refused service immediately but I did worry about what retaliation would come from saying so. But the regret of not using my voice would haunt me forever. So, our brave team member informed the group that due to the community we serve. We cannot offer them service and asked them to leave our business.

I realized that I wouldn’t ever feel comfortable owning a business who would rather conform than stand up for its beliefs and community. We are stronger than the fear they try to bring into a community and I believe today we had a choice. And I chose to stand by our people! We will not support ice agents dining at our establishment. Thank you for your support Dodge City! 🍔❤️🍟
