Henna has been used since the Bronze Age to dye skin, hair, fingernails, leather silk and wool. In several parts of the world it is traditionally used at festivals and celebrations. Henna is a tall shrub or small tree. It is multi branched with spine tipped branches. The henna plant is native to tropical and subtropical regions of Africa, Southern Asia and the Middle East. Powder is formed from dried henna leaves and mixed with dye releasing ingredients to form a paste and is used as a semi permanent dye for hair and body art. Book a henna tattoo artist!!
