This is valuable information but I want to be clear. These are strictly UV lamps they are talking about in the study.

This apparently happens every few years with an article published about the dangers of UV due to it being like a mini sun on your hands.

Many of the lamps available are LED and are safe. Please if you plan to get your nails done, ask questions. A lot of techs want to help educate their clients. If you still aren’t sure, there are up blocking gloves available online along with sunscreen.

Also, nail “dryers” are for regular polish (basically a fan) vs. nail “lamps” are for gel.

I am so behind on posting! 🙃 As May comes to a close, so much has happened. Good things, of course 🖤 my business has now been officially one month old, I had my first pop up event & I have my booking site in order (even got my first tattoo) 😃 nervous but looking forward to the rest of the year.
