I've learned that's there's a greater Light than any physical light we know. This Light is a beacon of hope, picture of salvation and spiritual awakening. And this Light is the true Light - the Messiah Jesus Christ. Our world at times feel like it's drowning in darkness - injustices, suffering and disasters to name a few. This Word invites us to embrace God's true Light of salvation. I am encouraged to pause and to imagine that our world is filled with the Light of God's love and truth. I encourage us all to do the same today 🕊️

Fix our eyes on Jesus🕊️

I can relate to today's Word for sometimes in my day, a challenge can be discouraging and can lead us to throw our hands up to give up. What has helped me face trials when I feel down or feel like I'm close to giving up, I look inward & I believe in my heart that there's always a breakdown before a breakthrough. By doing that, I ignite my heart & feel that God is using this challenge for my benefit and for me to get closer to Him. What doesn't kill us will only make us stronger, beloveds 🙏🏽🕊️

Today marks the beginning of Lent - which is a 40-day (excluding Sundays) Christian liturgical season of fasting, prayer, and almsgiving, symbolizing Jesus Christ's time of temptation in the wilderness.
Ash Wednesday comes quietly into a world filled with noise, hardship, danger and turmoil.

In the midst of uncertainty, suffering, and burdens we carry in silence, we are reminded to pause… to look deeper… to return to what truly matters.

This Lenten season is an invitation to reflect not only on our fragility, but on the Cross. He carried it so we would not have to carry life alone.

He entered our suffering so that our suffering could be offered, redeemed, and made meaningful in Him.

“Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

In our weakness, we find humility.
In humility, we find grace.
And in grace, we find Christ.

Beginning on Ash Wednesday and ending before Easter, it is a period for repentance, spiritual reflection, and self-denial. I surrender it all to the Most High and I'm stepping aside to allow Him to lead me, guide me & continually protect me. During the next 40 days, how can we engage on a deeper level with God beloved? What are you giving up this year for Lent?
