Let’s talk Trapezius Muscle Botox for pain relief.

As part of the FDA-approved PREEMPT protocol for chronic migraine treatment, Botox is injected into 7 key muscle groups, including the trapezius (trap) muscles. Treating the trapezius muscles can help reduce:

* Neck pain and tightness
* Shoulder pain and muscle tension
* Upper back discomfort
* Migraine frequency and severity
* Headaches that are triggered or worsened by muscle tension

In addition to migraine relief, some patients notice a cosmetic benefit from trapezius Botox, often referred to as “Barbie Tox.” By relaxing enlarged or overactive trap muscles, the shoulders may appear more elongated and the neck may look slimmer and more defined.
