I specialize in a unique and highly effective approach to the relief of new and chronic muscle, soft tissue, joint, and nerve pain. Advanced training in Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy and Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) are integrated with manual therapy to help identify and treat the underlying cause of pain or muscle dysfunction. I work closely with each client, customizing treatment to
Trigger point self-care techniques BEFORE an activity help:
π― relieve muscle tension & pain
π― improve strength & mobility
π― improve performance
π― prevent injuries & DOMS
My clients who treat their muscles before an activity report having more strength, endurance, mobility, and less or no soreness the next day.
A few examples:
π a basketball player moves freer & easier on the court (ankles)
π₯ a gardner is able to plant, dig, & w**d without pain (wrists & elbows)
π΄ a road cyclist can do long rides without pain during or after (psoas/ hip flexors)
π§βπ³ an avid cook feels supported with less pain standing & moving around the kitchen for long periods (low back, hypermobility)
Reach out if you have pain, weakness, numbness, or restricted movement keeping you from enjoying the activities you love. I guarantee there is a trigger point for it!!
Iβm looking at your feet, too. π£ π Howβs your arch control?
Neck, low back, hip, knee, ankle pain? Fascia is a continuous 3D web of connective tissue that wraps around every joint, muscle, nerve, and organ in your body - from your feet to your head. Restrictions in your foot fascia could be the root cause of your pain. π³

Screening for hypermobile characteristics is one of the first assessments I do in your first session.
I also scan your intake form looking for the symptoms listed in this post, and others, such as bruises easily and joint pain/ frequent dislocations.
Itβs not in my scope of practice to diagnose hypermobile spectrum disorders (HSD) or hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), but I can help significantly improve many of the symptoms with myofascial trigger point therapy & FSM.
Reach out out you would like more info, I offer free phone consults. π
Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) is more than just hypermobile joints. π
Because connective tissue is found throughout the body, hEDS can affect multiple organ systems, leading to symptoms that extend far beyond musculoskeletal pain and joint instability.
Some people with hEDS may experience:
β«οΈ Lightheadedness or fainting
β«οΈ Rapid heart rate with minimal activity
β«οΈ Gastrointestinal symptoms
β«οΈ Nausea or vomiting
β«οΈ Stomach cramps
β«οΈ Constipation
β«οΈ Migraine headaches
β«οΈ Neuropathy
β«οΈ And many other symptoms
Every person's experience with hEDS is different. Symptoms can range from mild to severe and often overlap with related conditions such as dysautonomia and mast cell disorders.
π¬ Which symptom has had the biggest impact on your daily life? Share your experience in the comments. πYour story may help someone else feel less alone.
If you're looking for a provider experienced in EDS, POTS, dysautonomia, MCAS, Chiari, and related complex neurological conditions, our practice is gradually accepting new patients.
As with all new patients, scheduling requires completion of the screening process and intake paperwork. Appointments are offered based on clinical review and availability.

Most of the time that persistent pain between the shoulder blades is referral from the neck. π¦
Releasing trigger points in neck muscles that refer to the upper back & adhesions in relevant tissues is often all it takes to relieve chronic muscle tension & related symptoms. π―
Often this is resolved in one session, like in this case. πͺ
Myofascial trigger point therapy & FSM work by finding & treating the root cause, kind of like solving a mystery. π
In this case, it was adhesions & trigger points caused by multiple head injuries & repetitive movements from a sport she played in high school. ποΈββοΈ
When you treat the WHY, the WHERE often melts away. π
Reach out if youβve been dealing with chronic pain, numbness, weakness, restricted movement, or other symptoms. These are signs of trigger points & adhesions/scarring.
By appointment only.

These guys are hysterical, as well as knowledgeable. It would be fun to field test this course for my hypermobile clients and perhaps gain some strength for my wiggly SI joint. πͺπ€ΈββοΈ

The zebra is the symbol of the EDS community for a few reasons:
π¦ βWhen you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebrasβ is an old medical saying meaning to look for the most common diagnosis (horses) rather than a rare one (zebras). This leads to delayed diagnosis and often several misdiagnoses for people with EDS.
π¦ Just like no two zebras share the same stripes, no two people with EDS share the same set of symptoms.
EDS (Ehlers Danlos Syndromes) is a genetic condition that affects the bodyβs connective tissue. This tissue, which supports ALL of your body systems & structures, are weakened due to defects in collagen production, causing a variety of symptoms & conditions.
π¦ EDS is more than hypermobility.
Ehlers-Danlos syndromes are complex connective tissue disorders that can affect the joints, skin, blood vessels, organs, autonomic nervous system, and more.
For many patients, symptoms are chronic, life-altering, and often invisible to others.
This EDS Awareness Month, we stand with the community in raising awareness, encouraging earlier recognition, and helping patients feel seen and understood. π
EDS is...
REAL.
COMPLEX.
OFTEN INVISIBLE.
