LONG POST‼️

I made pregnancy look a tad too glamorous until it wasn’t. June was rough to say the least. WE ARE ALL HOME AND OKAY NOW!!
But here is the story

I went in for my 33 week prenatal appointment with no symptoms such as a headache, swollen feet or swollen anything . However, I did go in with the blood pressure of 186/112😕. That’s when it started to get serious. I got sent into labor and delivery to be monitored. Scared and confused trying to hold it all in, in minutes I was diagnosed with distention hypertension and preeclampsia! After monitoring for three days in the hospital and getting my BP at a stable and kinda lower rate, of course in the middle of the night my BP spiked up lowering my baby’s heart rate. So for the safety of my unborn son and me an emergency C-section had to be performed. Surgery went well, then my heart got torn into a million pieces after meeting my son for a few minutes through a transporting incubator. All while trying to recover, trying to get enough strength just to be discharged to go to another hospital a hour away to see my newborn son things got worse and the saxophone started to get louder. I got rushed to the OR for another emergency surgery due to a hemorrhage and major trauma to my uterus with mass of blood clots. At the time, some family members were upset due to me rushing out of the hospital After three days . But I was just trying to get to my newborn son. All while also dealing with Mom guilt for not seeing my son for a couple days. The Mom guilt was so real that two weeks postpartum we still threw him a third birthday party.

To my partner aka my man!! my man!! without you I don’t know how I could’ve made it through it all. I’m so grateful for my family especially my sister and niece. To the health professionals at the labor & delivery and NICU unit who took care of me and baby boy THANK YOU!!! To my clients and friends, I’m sorry for all the crazy rescheduling, but also thank you for all the support and understanding. I will be back like I never left. 💪🏽❤️

✨M O T H E R H O O D✨

Being a mother teaches you patience in ways you never imagined. Where you wear your heart outside your body everyday. Where the days can be tough but the moments will be magical. Some days are filled with laughter and cuddles, and others test every ounce of your strength. But here’s the truth…..one day, you’ll look back and miss it all. Even the sleepless nights, the little to big tantrums and the chaos. Because those hard moments were just as full of love and growth as the easy ones. So today, I’m holding onto the little things-the messy, the beautiful and exhausting moments that make up motherhood. Because these are the days we’ll want back. CELEBRATE YOU TODAY MOMMY, YOU DESERVE IT!!!!
