The EGOT-winning icon is temporarily stepping away from *The View* to film Netflix’s upcoming movie *Women Like Us*, proving once again that having a long-running seat at the table doesn’t mean you stop making moves beyond it.

Goldberg will be away from *The View* Tuesdays through Thursdays for roughly two weeks while she films, but she’ll continue appearing on Mondays. ([turn0news0])

And the replacement lineup? Very much giving reunion tour.

Former co-hosts Lisa Ling, Star Jones, Sherri Shepherd and Debbie Matenopoulos are returning to the table, with Joy Behar stepping in as moderator during Goldberg’s absence. ([turn0news10])
