Magpie Color & Extensions

For my vivid girlies 🌈

Bright hair is a commitment.

Cold water, good products, fewer washes, and making friends with dry shampoo.

Worth it? Absolutely.

Can we have a moment for THE BLEND?! 👏🏻

Going from short hair to 22 inches is one thing.
Making you forget where her hair ends and the extensions begin?
That’s the magic. 😼✨

Because extensions aren’t just about adding hair—the cut, placement, density, texture, and blend are what make them believable.

She said length. I said say less. 🪄

18" extensions for the kind of transformation that somehow looks like she just woke up with way more hair. 👀
More length. More fullness. Still completely her.

Him Vs. The one you told him not to worry about. 😏

We don’t do tiny scrunchies around here. 😂

These jumbo satin scrunchies don't pull, so they are perfect for extensions and comfortable on your head. Fit for a messy bun at Target or that 9AM meeting. 💅🏻

Big hair deserves a big scrunchie. 🖤

📍 Only locally available at Magpie Color & Extensions

S**g. But make it naturally curlllllyyyyy. 😼

No fighting the curl.
No trying to make it behave.
We gave it layers, let it do its thing, and look how HAPPY IT IS. 😻

Turns out sometimes your curls just need the right haircut.

✨ Hi, I’m Kat — the human behind Magpie. 🖤
If you’re new here, welcome to my little corner of the internet. And if you’ve been here awhile… you already know things get a little colorful around here. 😂

I’ve been behind the chair since 2010, and somewhere along the way I realized I was never meant to make “just hair.”

I love the weird stuff. The dramatic transformations. Vivids, extensions, color corrections, shags, mullets, and hair that actually feels like the person wearing it.

I’m an elder emo/scene queen at heart, a mom, a wife, a chronic collector of skulls & crystals, and the kind of person who will absolutely get distracted by a cool bug, an obscure historical fact, or a really good hair-color idea. I'm a little feral, and my husband calls me a raccoon. 🦝 😂

Magpie Color & Extensions is my private studio in Greensburg, PA, built around something I wanted desperately to see more of in this industry: a space where you don't have to perform.
Come talk my ear off. Sit quietly. Bring headphones. Ask a million questions. Tell me your favorite animal fact. Be weird. Be yourself. 🖤

And to my current clients — thank you. Seriously. Every appointment, referral, share, comment, and person who has trusted me with their hair has helped me build this strange little dream into something real. I wouldn't get to do what I love without you.

And to anyone new who stumbled across my page…
Hi! 🥰
I think you’ll fit in just fine here. 🖤✨
