It's taken me a lot to get my skin back here. Smooth, polished, very minimal blemishes, but not 100% none. And that's just how skin is! You've got to love the skin you're in, quite literally. I know there is that silly trend circulating about millennials 'not looking their age' & I'm here to challenge that. This is what 39 looks like FOR ME. No filters, no editing, just some nice lighting, a waxed face, vitamins & skincare!!

Though my students & colleagues used to joke I don't look a day over 26 (liars 🤣) I'm ok to say (NOW) that I'm a year away from 40 and I think this is the best I've looked in a long time!

I got into the makeup game a long long time ago, but I never really allowed myself to make it a full-time career. Somewhere along the way, I discovered that between makeup and all things esthetics, from waxing to Hydrafacials, it’s the world of skin and beauty that I truly long to pursue long-term.

Perhaps foolishly, this past month I left my 9-to-5 to pursue that passion. And if I’m being honest, some days I wonder if I’m going to sink instead of swim.

But just as you learn to trust the process, whatever the prompted look may be, I’m choosing to trust this journey. I trust my faith. I trust my talent. And I trust that I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

Hello all! It's been a minute. I had a long stretch of time where I concentrated my talents on teaching esthetics. And now, I am back behind the chair doing what I love. Where I will still have plenty of time for my freelancing, I now also work commission at a wonderful spa in the heart of NW Portland.
