I’ve been working hard behind the scenes on a brand-new project to help us all beat the upcoming New England heat, and I am so excited to share it finally: The Homestead Summer Mocktail Blend Collection! 🍹🌿✨ (Photos coming soon once my new packaging arrives!)

This launch is deeply personal to me. I’ve chosen to be sober for over 5 years now, and I know exactly what it’s like to try to navigate all those summer social gatherings. Have you ever gone out to eat and realized your only alcohol-free options are plain water or a sweet fountain soda? It instantly makes you feel like you're stuck ordering off the kids' menu while everyone else gets a beautifully crafted beverage. Wishing there were more fun adult options to choose from. So while away on vacation in the Keys, I decided to try out my Rest & Rose Facial moisturizer! 🏝️🧳 You guys know I always test my products before they make it onto my product list, but this time I decided to put this one to the test for an extended period of time! 🧪✨

And with that blazing Florida sun... can you say "hello, major sunburn!!!" ☀️🌴🥵 We aren't even going to go on about the time I slathered myself in tallow and literally got fried to a crisp!! 🔥🍳 But I digress... and as much as I love my Trifecta roller, the thought of spreading oil on my face again and stepping out into that kind of heat just sounded a little iffy. 🙅‍♀️

Since Rest & Rose is made with a base of aloe and jojoba, I figured it was the perfect ultimate test. And Er ma gerd... game changer!!! 🤯🌱🌿

Hey friends! 👋 We are officially back from vacation, feeling completely rested, recharged, and so incredibly inspired to take on a busy market season! ☀️🌿

While it was wonderful to unplug for a bit, my hands are always itching to create. 👩‍🎨✨ I spent my first days back blending, testing, and perfecting some brand-new, all-natural simmer pot blends for our upcoming spring and summer events. 🍋🌸 I found some awesome dried flowers and herbs from the open-air market at Irie Island Eats that I plan to work into the mix somehow. 🏝️💐

My current obsession is a gorgeous new recipe working with vibrant citrus, fresh garden herbs, and the spicy, warm ginger I’ve been dehydrating myself. 🍊🔥🌱 Another batch of grapefruit, oranges, and limes just went into the dehydrator, so I am going to have plenty to go around!! ⚡👩‍🍳
