Iโve been studying sheep lately, and one thing that keeps sticking with me is that sheep know their shepherdโs voice. Not because theyโre smart animals. Not because theyโve memorized a set of rules. They know his voice because theyโve spent time with him.
Out of all the noises around them, all the other voices, and all the distractions, they learn to recognize the one voice that has always led them, protected them, fed them, and brought them home. Thatโs why Jesus said, โMy sheep hear My voice. I know them, and they follow Me.โ Lately, thatโs brought me a lot of peace.I donโt need to have every answer.
I donโt need to know exactly what tomorrow looks like.
I donโt need to have my whole life figured out. I just need to stay close to the Shepherd.
Because even when I donโt know where Iโm going, He does. ๐ค
