My Story is really one built from family, a love for old things, junking, thrifting, creating and spending time with my parents. It all started with a few pieces of furniture left over from my Mother In Laws home when we moved her into assisted living. Prince Charming aka (My Husband) helped me haul them home to our garage unsure of what I would do with them but, He believes in me and my love for repurposing. There is nothing more fun than finding a treasure that is old or discarded and breathing new life back into it, an ability both of my parents have always had. I am a hairstylist by trade and have been for more than 35 years now and so I have a vast knowledge of Hair Color. What I soon realized is painting furniture is like transforming a head of bad hair. I sold those first few pieces that I had painted from My Mother In Law and kept on junking, thrifting, creating and painting. Eventually my garage became so full that I needed to find a space to display and sell all my Reclaimed, Reloved and Refurbished treasures. I started thinking about a name that included my parents because they helped bring this dream to life. MAD FOR REHAB stands for MOM ALESHIA DAD and thats how the name was born. Rehab is what we do to old furniture, new furniture and pieces we create. We hope you enjoy purchasing and looking at our creations.

Some things are worth waiting for… I think 🤔 our bathtub, Spent three months in our bedroom, waiting for faucets to come in. 😂 When all was said and done, we loved it and it’s been 5 years and I wouldn’t change a thing.
