Do Knit for the Grams

Our Gram, Joan Normandy, lovingly called “Cape Cod Grammie”, always put others first, gave without hesitation, was strong and selfless, and educated us in so many ways. I think the biggest things I learned from my Gram was strength and bravery. She raised 5 kids, while working and taking care of a home. Gram was an avid reader and always believed in expanding her mind. Christmas overflowed with love as Gram gave gift after gift to the many family members surrounding her. Although Gram became an angel in 2013, We want to continue to share the love and generosity that Gram gave to us 💙

Our Gram, Dolores Wnuk, touched so many with her kindness, generosity, selflessness, and her presence! Gram knit baby blankets, hats, shawls, and other items and hand-delivered them to a local hospital. She also created prayer shawls, given to those who were under going life-saving treatments, at the end of life, or loved ones. You could literally feel the love woven through each hand-made item she created! Please help us continue her legacy, as she became an angel in February 2020 💛

Do Knit for the Grams is a new group in search of knitters, crafters, and anyone who is interested in helping to continue our Grams legacy! We will be making items to donate and taking donations for local hospitals and shelters. Things include baby hats, shawls, blankets, craft supplies, knitting/crochet supplies and more! Please join us in celebrating the life and legacy of our Grams in any way you can!!
