Please help a sweet girl find a home. A young adult female German Shepherd (black in color) is needing her furever home. She loves cuddling with humans on the couch and playing with her ball. She can be with dogs similar in size. We are unsure of how she does with cats and small dogs. Her furever home does need to be outside of Yankton city limits. No public photos will be posted. If you are interested, please call or text 605 660 5592. Veterinary reference required.

At this time, I am going to put a pause on taking new clients, if you have already submitted forms or been in contact with me, I will get back to you when openings occur. Spring is an incredibly busy time for a one wo(man) band such as myself, and it’s crazy over here!! I am prioritizing any and all current clients before I will be able to take on new!! Thank you for your understanding and patience while I ride the crazy wave!

I appreciate you all more than you know 🫶🏻

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Wishing you all a blessed Thanksgiving with your family and friends! As I reflect on this year, I have so much to be thankful for! My support system, my health, my body's ability for me to do my job, ALL THE PETS, and of course, ALL OF YOU! 🤎

A few pics from our float in the parade this past weekend!

Harper clearly needs to visit the salon. But her grinch feet kind of fit her costume 😂 what do they say about the plummers faucet again?? Same goes for the groomers dog, clearly…Hopefully I can get her in before Christmas 🤦🏻‍♀️

So fun to see everyone! Hartington had a great turnout!

Be sure to come visit Hartington THIS FRIDAY, November 21st at 7:30 p.m. for Hartington’ Annual Candlelight Christmas Celebration and Parade of Lights! Pawz Salon and Chloe Smith, Realtor - The Move Group join forces to bring a fun float to the party! You won’t want to miss the big surprise!! Open houses and jolly and cheer will be all DOWNTOWN HARTINGTON! See you all there!! 🤍

Candyland has come to Hartington! 🎄🍭 Be sure to check out all the different things going on in Hartington and do not miss Hartington's Candlelight Christmas Parade at 7:30pm this Friday, November 21st.

We have an exciting surprise in store on our float! Any guesses what it is? 🍬

Hello everyone!!
🐾
Its that time of year again, and I just want to stay ahead of the game! I know many think fleas are like flies and go away in the cold months, however, that is NOT the case! Those little pests stick around all year. Just a reminder that your dog MUST be on prevention all year round.

There is a fee of $350 if your pet brings fleas in the salon plus the cost of the groom and an additional $25 per dog who is present in the salon, to ensure everyone leaves safe, clean and happy!!

It is my priority to make sure pets leave my salon in better condition then they arrived and feeling their best. Owners who do their due diligence to provide proper prevention should not need to pay or worry on behalf of those who are neglecting to do so. I take this very seriously and why I have strict rules about this. Prevention for an entire year is cheaper than this fee!

The truth is, these little menaces do not discriminate. It doesn't matter how "clean" you keep your house, or what car you drive, a host is a host. 🤷‍♀️

Use proper brands such as Bravecto, Nexgard, or Simparica Trio. I do not trust topical treatments you may see at TSC, Bomgaars or Walmart especially "Adams" or "Hartz" products!!!! Speak to your veterinarian on which product would fit your pet and lifestyle best. Proper prevention can be purchased with your primary vet.

I hope you all understand where I am coming from. I just want to make sure this little business of mine provides the very best care for you and your 4-legged family. ❤

🐾On a sweeter note: I am so blessed for you all and am so beyond grateful for all of you who allow me to live my dream! I have gotten intake forms for new clients and I want you to know those new forms are currently on my waitlist. As the year is coming to a close, I am prioritizing services to my current clients til years end before I add new to the rotation! You guys are the best and I am convinced I have been blessed with the best clients in the world! I couldn't do this without you guys!

Much love,
Meika❤

Its almost time!

LET THE FEASTING BEGIN!!

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, folks! If your pooches are anything like mine, they know I’m a sucker for those “puppy dog eyes” 🥺 and with food smelling so good they lay them on hard! Soooo, I wanted to give you a little list of holiday goodies that are safe for your pups to eat and ones that you should steer clear of. I’m also going to include the number to the Pet Poison Helpline as well as a few local vet numbers that I know my clients use as a reference just in case! I hope everyone has a great holiday with friends and family! 💜

🎶Mr. Peep looks like a sheep 🎶

Well, No not really, but I sang that to him for his whole groom. Oh, the things I put these poor dogs through 🤣

Peep is a HUGE baby and is still getting the hang of getting groomed but he is doing great! If you guys could only feel his SOFT this guy is…he might actually be a sheep 🤔🤪
