There’s no place like home 🥰 As a North Carolina native, I thought I’d share a few fun facts about my life here! ✨ I was born in Winston-Salem (shoutout to my 336 peeps) ✨ I’ve lived in Advance, Clemmons, Winston-Salem, Kernersville, and now Asheville ✨ Growing up, I loved visiting state parks near the Triad (Hanging Rock, Pilot Mountain, and Stone Mountain) so they’ll always hold a special place in my heart ✨ I graduated from Salem College with a BS in Accounting ✨ My dad, mom, and sister all have degrees from Appalachian State University (I refused because I thought it would be too cold hahah) ✨ When I was in college, I conned my mom into hiking the Profile Trail with me by telling her it was easy (she has since learned how to read reviews on AllTrails) ✨ My favorite “big girl job” before becoming a full-time content creator was working as an Accounting Analyst for Pike Electric ✨ My favorite state parks are Gorges State Park (mountains) and Hammocks Beach State Park (coast) It’s crazy to think that I used to believe I had to live in the PNW or travel abroad for epic adventures. A few years ago, I finally embraced exploring my own backyard—and I’m so glad I did! I’ve since had some unforgettable adventures in this amazing state. If you live in North Carolina or have visited before, what’s your favorite spot? #northcarolina #northcarolinaliving #visitnc #blueridgemountains #ncbeaches 02/08/2025
