Curious but hesitant to try a mineral sunscreen? I feel you. Who wants to look like Casper at the beach, esp when dealing with tiny humans who won’t sit still to allow 10 minute to rub it in. No thanks.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve surely seen the countless news stories and recalls on many of the most popular mainstream sunscreens on the shelves, even the ones claiming to be “natural.” Not only are they hazardous for our health and linked to cancer and other health issues, but they are killing the world’s coral reefs causing many states like Hawaii and Florida to take matters into their own hands and ban them from sue to preserve precious marine life. 🐠 🌎

If nothing else, always always opt for a mineral, zinc based physical blocker vs a chemical sunscreen that goes on clear and takes a bit less time to apply but gets absorbed (along with many dangerous and suspect chemicals along with it!) directly into your bloodstream within seconds. No bueno.

BUT Not all mineral sunscreens are made the same and after trying various cleaner safer mineral sunscreens, I always come back to . We use NON NANO zinc to ensure the particles cannot pe*****te the skin’s barrier and it sits on top of the skin to physically block the harmful UVB, UVA (anti aging rays) AND blue light rays from the sun and all those devices— also a major skin aging contributor!! Plus it rubs in easily, leaving next to no white cast and antioxidant California poppy extract is super hydrating with a refreshing citrus scent to boot. 🌺

With the heaviest of hearts, we’re sad to share that after giving us 15 incredible years of unwavering love, loyalty and joy, doggie heaven got a super star this week. Feel so lucky for all the years we had with our sweet Mica girl and all the lessons she taught us and our kiddos. She loved us so hard and it was time to let her run again, when she was the most happy. She gave us her ALL every single day even at the end when it was a struggle to move freely. We will never forget you girlie and know you’re running, swimming, snorting, shoe stealing, bum wiggling, nose nuzzling and eating allll the popcorn! We will carry you forever in our hearts ♥️ ✨ 🙏🏻
