Please welcome Dr. Sarah Minka to the Innova family! Dr. Sarah Minka is a board certified dermatologist whose mission is to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for patients to feel comfortable sharing their concerns affecting the skin, hair and nails. She imparts a personalized aspect to the practice of dermatology, working together with her patients to achieve their goals in a way that best fits their lifestyle. She practices general, cosmetic and surgical dermatology.
Dr. Minka grew up in Iowa where she attended the University of Iowa, obtaining her bachelors of science degree in Integrative Physiology. She went on to receive her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her dermatology training from the University of North Texas Health Science Center where she served as chief resident.
After graduating residency, Dr. Minka spent 4 years serving rural areas of South Texas and West Georgia. She recently relocated to the Nashville area with her husband and 2 children. In her free time she loves creating memories with her family exploring all that middle Tennessee has to offer. Spending time outdoors in nature is always a family favorite and Dr. Minka encourages everyone to protect their skin while enjoying a full and active life
