I took her dark brown/ black box dyed hair to a soft toffee, mushroom brown dimensional lighted brunette by using the “teasy-lights” technique and foilayaging her hair! I then cut three inches off and layered it up for a fabulous lift! 🤎Bam!

How To Keep Your Hair Thriving This Summer:

This summer, we will emerge from our homes into a brighter new normal, and we’re doing so with healthy hair! We know you can feel the summer sun beating on you while you go back to beach and pool days, outdoor activities, and safe, socially distanced gatherings, but let’s not forget how healthy your hair has been while inside with regular OLAPLEX treatments. Start here with a suggested routine to rebuild your hair from UV ray damage, thermal styling, mechanical styling, chemical processes, and the dryness incurred from time in the sun and water:

PREP

Before you do anything, stick to a routine that will keep your hair thriving this summer. We call this prep work, but really, weekly treatments are essential whether you’re indoors or out.

This is a treatment you want to perform weekly to continue rebuilding hair, as it experiences damage every day. If you have healthy hair, we recommend treating it once weekly. Moisture is huge in the summer as the sun and water are extremely drying (and damaging). We love a sun-kissed head of hair as much as the next hair lover, but the lightening your hair gets from the sun results from damage. The heat from the sun is so strong it’s lifting your color. Assuming you have the above weekly OLAPLEX treatment penciled in, follow the treatment with a surge of moisture to replenish your hair from the dryness it incurs. PROTECT

There are a few options for your hair for protection from the sun.
