K-tips are becoming one of my fave services to do! They are so versatile, feel and move like your own hair, and can be used to add length, density, volume, or just filling in sparse spots!

Again, don't @ me. This guest had leftover hair from her previous install and wanted a bob this visit. We didn't want to waste any hair so I installed and just customized the cut!

Hair extension math is reallll 😂

Everyone jokes that you'll never use any of the math you learn in high school, meanwhile I'm doing it everyday.

And it's not just color formulas. When I install K-tip extensions, I'm also calculating how much extension hair your natural hair can safely support.

Every client's hair density is different, so I have to consider the weight of the extensions, section size, and placement to make sure the hair looks full while protecting the health of your natural hair.

So yes, seamless hair is really just a whole lot of math.

Also, before you @ me, I know her hair is much shorter than the length of her extensions. She decided to chop a bob and we had leftover hair to use from her last install and I knew we could still do 'em and cut them to customize!

Extensions are a lot more common than you might think 😉
