Ladies I really appreciate your ongoing support and I canβt thank you enough for trusting me with your beautiful faces since 2016. To this day Iβve done over 1000+ pairs of eyebrows and the best part is that 90% of my exciting clients come back to see me for their annual touch-ups every 1-2 years which makes it even more difficult for me to schedule new clients since my calendar is getting filled up very fast these days. I will be forever loyal to my existing clients and they will always have a priority when booking their appointments with me. I have no choice but to limit the amount of new clients I can schedule because I canβt be booked for 6+ months at a time, it gives me too much anxiety especially with the things going on in the world right now. From now on I will be opening my calendar for 2 months at a time and as soon as it gets full I wouldnβt be able to schedule anyone else until the next 2 months open up. Most likely I will have to stop taking new clients starting next year so now is your time to book your appointment with me before it is too late. I will hopefully have another artist working in my studio by that time so you could still get in and get your eyebrows done right but it might not be with me in particular at that point. My price is going up on July 5thΒ for all new client bookings. Annual touch-up appointment price will stay the same for the rest of the 2020 (remember it is only if you come back 12-24 months after your last session, if it has been 24+ months you will be charged full price again so donβt wait too long). To secure my current rate the non-refundable $300 booking fee must be paid before July 5th. The appointment itself is not going to be scheduled before July 5th since my calendar is currently fully booked until October 2020. Even though we are all on lockdown now and no one is working (I hope) I want to talk about something important today - the proper sterilization & cosmetic tattoo tray set up. Save this post in your bookmarks if you didnβt know this already! Using just a new needle is not enough if you worry about your or your clientβs health!οΏ½οΏ½A workstation begins with a clean, non porous work-surface, in my case it is medical grade stainless steel cart, stainless steel medical tray covered by a new disposable plastic bag. Everything non disposable on the work station should be non porous as well and covered with a barrier film (like the green soap bottle in the top left corner). All machine parts should be covered with a barrier film as well including the cord and the power supply. No foreign items should ever be on the tray, things like phones, drinks, food, etc (trust me it happens more than you think, I see it everyday watching Instagram stories from some artists). Of course the needle itself, or the cartridge should be brand new and sealed with a proper sterilization expiration date listed on it and it should be opened in front of the client before each procedure. If you need to take a break or answer the phone, gloves should be removed and disposed. New gloves should be put on when returning to the client. When procedure is done everything on the tray should be properly disposed. Everything sharp, such as needles and blades should go in the sharps container onlyοΏ½οΏ½The focus of the procedure should be to avoid a cross contamination at all costs! If the equipment used to create your cosmetic tattoo is contaminated with infected bodily fluids, you can contract various blood borne diseases - including MRSA, hepatitis B, hepatitis C and even HIV virus. Make sure your artist has a proper Bloodborn disease training and is using universal precautions with each client.
