Hydration vs Moisture.
What do I do to make my hair less DRY?!
Hydration is what hair needs to boost shine, luster, manageability. Hair naturally creates an equilibrium with the atmosphere around it. If it is humid in your area, your hair will naturally be more hydrated vs dry air will mean more dehydrated hair strands.
What causes dehydration of your hair?
-change in seasons
-AC
-Sun exposure
-Wind
-coloring you hair
-Blow drying
-Iron curling or straightening
To hydrate something means to increase its WATER content. Increasing the amount of water in your skin and hair strands results in a healthy, smooth, plump, vibrant appearance. So what about moisture? Moisturizing refers to the amount of oil in your hair that essentially seals in the water.
