🤩 Sometimes you just need a root retouch, some long layers and a deep conditioning treatment. My new guest was looking for a holistic hairstylist and found me online. It was so fun to work with her. Her hair was desperate for some moisture so you know I did a deep treatment.

I did a rich brunette color melt and toned her ends to give her a ombré/balayage look. We cuts some beachy long layers and treated it with all the fermented haircare goodness. It was sparkling after! 💎

I use an ammonia free and ppd free color line and all my clients remark that the color is less fumy and does not irritate them like ammonia color. Every little but helps.

🚨 Color transformation alert! This was a first time client. She was not happy with how it has been colored before. So we did some correcting.

I did my lowlight/balayage combo with a color melt to bring back dimension and make the money piece pop. We were in love with the results!

I tell my clients this all the time…sometimes less is more. You need dimension for the lighter pieces to sit on so they pop. If you get everything close to the same color then the highlights get lost.

💧The hair feels so clean and bouncy but also shiny and hydrated. Everything is lightweigh but truly hydrating. Not just coating the hair. The scent is intoxicating! There are no artificial fragrances so the smell comes from some of the botanicals like rose water, lavender oil and mint.

🤩 One of the most remarkable things is that the shampoo is really good a gently but effectively removing mineral and product build up from the strands. All without the use of stripping detergents. And the conditioner is so hydrating for the cuticle but not heavy.

This means that after using it your color will actually be more bright and vibrant. This is because that build up causes a dulling effect and the stripping detergents dry the hair making it less shiny. Solving those two problems means richer, cleaner color that glows. 🌟

We couldn’t believe how much shiner her hair was after. Her grey hair was more vibrant and dimensional looking. The whiter pieces were brighter and the darker silver was richer. We did no color on her. Just a cut and treatment. 🤯
