Did you know that you can burn your toner off using hot tools? That’s right, consistent use at high temperatures will burn your toner and leave your hair looking brassy (brassy=ORANGE, RED, YELLOW).

That might not scare everyone because those are all still pretty colors but heat will fade reds and coppers much faster which makes your hair color look dull and fade extremely fast.

✨Here’s the real scary part, using irons over 365° consistently can PERMANENTLY break down the hydrogen bonds in the hair! 🤯 That’s enough to disrupt the curl pattern in your hair permanently meaning until you cut it off. Some things I’ve learned recently that I have had WRONG and maybe you have to… swipe ➡️ these are only a few I will be sharing more because I’m absolutely nerding out on learning about this stuff 🙌🏻

“If you have oily hair you have to wash less to train your hair…” raise your hand if you have been personally victimized by this statement…. 🙋🏼‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

I always thought that it’s best to use an ungodly amount of dry shampoo so that I can push my wash days out… hard workout, sweaty hair? Blow dry it and the oil will dry out 😑 now I realize how ridiculous that sounds and makes total sense why it doesn’t do you any good. It could actually speed up your genetic hair loss or cause scalp inflammation so STOP IT!

Also all aerosol dry shampoo (and other products) are literal poison and cause cancer…. I’ve been using a natural dry shampoo powder for a few years now and truthfully it works way better, feels less sticky and way less money! At one point I was going through a can of dry shampoo in 2 weeks 🫣 we wash our bodies daily why do we think our scalp is any different?

Now I’m not saying you HAVE to wash everyday but if you want to you can and should be doing it more frequently especially if you use product. Switch to sulfate free shampoo so that you don’t irritate or dry your scalp out.

If your scalp if producing excess oil it’s likely due to your gut health washing more frequently will actually dry out your scalp not make it more oily….

Can we just talk about how beautiful her NATURAL HAIR COLOR is?!

Her Haircut and style are pretty bomb too, but I just wanna admire her perfectly blended gray and white hair. It looks like someone colored it this way on purpose 😍

How does one simply get so lucky?! I told her she’s not allowed to ask me to color it, I won’t be held responsible for disrupting her perfect natural hair 🥹
