I am Lisa the proprietor of Fig & Petal. I am originally from Long Island, New York, however I have been in Hillsborough for more than half my life. I am the mother of four adult children and grandma of six. I have been interested in herbalism for some time now; I actually make tinctures, oils and salves for family and friends which has proved to be of benefit to both myself and them. Having been retired from the federal work force for two and a half years, I have missed being of assistance to the veterans.

In addition to herbalism, the thought of making soap had crossed my mind many, many times, however, it was my eldest grandchild, Ayden, who encouraged me the most to pursue this new venture, and I am enjoying every bit of it.
