Hey Dolls💕
This video was made by yours truly as an introduction to the face behind Doll’d Up Hawaii.
My pmu journey started in 2020 when I was placed on furlough from my job due to COVID. I just had gotten a promotion, few weeks later I found out I was going to be a mom and soon after I was furloughed.
I was always interested in permanent makeup but never thought I really needed it to the point where I wanted to spend that type of money. Plus, I’ve been doing makeup for 10+ years and thought doing my own makeup was a therapeutic way to start off my day. It wasn’t until I gave birth to my son, that I really seen the value of having permanent makeup done. After getting my eyebrows and lips done, a lightbulb went on and I was like “l want to do this for other women”. I’ve always had a passion for makeup and all things beauty so pmu just came naturally.
I got license, insured and certified and that was the birth of Doll’d Up Hawaii.

Let’s talk healing process👏
Everyone’s skin heals differently. Some people may scab on the 1st or 2nd day after initial procedure. Please do not pick at your scabs. Some people don’t experience any scabbing. Swelling is common but will usually subside after 4 hours to 24 hours, depending on your skin. Icing is key when it comes to swelling. Tightening is also a common side effect and will subside. In most cases, color will fade and come back.
I can’t say this enough “Aquaphor is life”
Use it👏 Less is NOT more in this case.
