We've been quiet this week as we observe the shock of what's happening in our world.

As a technology startup, we have limited budgets and often look to offshore teams to build our software. Over the past few years, one of the teams we've had the most success with was out of Ukraine. They worked hard, communicated well, showed resilience, and kept things fun.

As humans, we are devastated to see any walk of life attacked simply because a madman or group wants to supress it. We have watched our friends switch from working in front of laptops to holding weapons to protect their way of life. We've seen many flee their homes.

At times like this, we have to take action. We have already committed 5% of February's revenue to Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine and will do the same in March. We will also share resources in our stories.

The name “Big Sur” was derived from its original Spanish name, El Grande Sur - or The Big South. It was the area south of Monterey, CA that was neither mapped nor explored.

And it’s no surprise. Even today, the road through Big Sur, while beautiful, is a one lane highway swirling around the edges of cliffs and mountains. It often gets shut down due to weather this time of year. You also won’t get cell phone service.

Luckily for us, the weather cooperated and we were able to take in all the breathtaking views 😍 We highly recommend it!
