Payment Clarification! 💵 With the card hullabaloo… since I’ve been asked if it affects me. No, nothing has changed. I have never charged card surcharges on debit cards. Square has only and will only allow surcharges for credit cards. It might show a suggested total if you use any card, but once processed the fee is not there. It will show you the processed amount automatically without the fee (if debit) after ran and you may have a receipt text or emailed from Square. On Square Plus, the processing fee for tap, dip, or swipe payments is 2.5% + 15¢, and the processing fee for online payments is 2.9% + 30¢. What you are charged: The credit card surcharge set to your payments is only 1.5%. I have attached 2 examples of what it will look like if you are charged a surcharge or not. If any business runs your debit card as a credit, it should still not have a fee!! Only if it is an actual credit card! That’s the law!

Venmo! 👈 I have a business Venmo account (DeepWaterGrooming) & when you send payments to my business Venmo, it will ask for an amount you are due to pay, then if you would like to send a tip. If you add a tip as a payment, I have to pay taxes on it, which I’m not required to do. So please if you use my business Venmo, enter in amount due, then if you would like to tip, you may do so when it asks. My personal Venmo is not set this way.

TAXES: Louisiana Tax 5% & Parish Tax 5.5% are applied to retail.
