✖️NOT READY: the hair is a level 7/8. If you pull the foil now you will have to gloss/tone out the warmth at the level it’s at and it won’t be quite as bright. ⁣⁠

✖️READY: the hair is more like a level 9/10...more similar to the inside of a banana. There is a smidge of yellow left, notice that it’s not white. (When hair is truly white it’s typically over processed.) You may not have to gloss/tone this hair at all, but if you do, it will be easy to keep it super bright since it’s been lifted so light. ⁠

It takes time to train your eye to know when a foil is done. And sometimes, no matter how long you leave the lightener on, not all hair will ever reach inside of a banana yellow in one session.⁠
