When I say profound, I’m talking about the level of support my daughter needs every single day.
Profound means needing to find care just to run to the store—
for your adult child, your 21-year-old.
It means constantly having to prove to the state—over and over—that she is disabled, mentally and physically.
It means being her voice, because she can’t speak for herself.
It means helping her in the most basic ways—
using the restroom, getting dressed, eating—because she can’t do those things independently.
It means preparing every meal, simplifying everything, guiding every step.
Profound means your adult child functions more like a young child—around 3 to 5 years old mentally.
This is not temporary.
This is not occasional.
This is every day.
And this is the part of autism that isn’t often seen behind the smiles in pictures.
This is my Boss Girl 👧🏻 Sophia and the soap we make together! We’re a mother-daughter team building skills, spreading love, and raising awareness for autism—one bar at a time. This is our kind of Mother’s Day—creating something beautiful, together.

Check out our pure cocoa butter soap. Naturally scented no fragrance oils. It is often recommended for treatment of skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. It creates a barrier between sensitive skin and the environment and also helps retain moisture. In addition, cocoa butter contains cocoa mass polyphenol (CMP), a substance that inhibits the production of the immuno globulin IgE. IgE is known to aggravate symptoms of both dermatitis and eczema.
