Well, balanced adults raising their own children. Now, but if I had to do it all over again, I would have followed my heart... I didn't know quite how to go about affording to make the change to the lifestyle that I craved for us. As I look back, I do see some possibilities that I didn't see back when. As I look back, I am certain that social expectations to do it all alone and to do it for and by yourself can paralyze your vision, decisions, efforts, and outcomes. I had a couple of options, but gave in to the pressure of thinking I needed to succeed on my own. That receiving help was being weak... Not true! I am fairly happy with my life's efforts and outcomes. However, was that great of cost in many ways. Now I like to say... " Teamwork makes the dream work"
