This client comes in about twice a year and we always try to keep her bright, but also lived in for low maintenance. This service i did a full head of baby lights, tipped out her ends, and created a faint shadow root to help for a natural seamless grow-out. Also i’m dying for the creamy neutral tones on her 😻

My favorite ginger🔥

I’ve been loving the fall copper/orange/red warm trends and was so excited to do this color. I’m going to share my process/formula for any stylist friends, because these can be tricky for darker level hair, and i had a hard time finding any formula suggestions on here 🤪

Her regrowth was a level 3/4 so I used Schwarzkopf Igora 5/7, 6/77 (50 g each. /7 is copper /77 is intense copper) and 5/57, 6/88 (about 1/4 each. I used the /57 for the brown and /88 for a little extra red kick) with equal parts 20 & 30 vol. It was a lot of color, but she has a lot of hair and i used all of it! I let her process for 20 minutes and then combed the color down and then all the way through in some sections to help add depth & dimension. Let her process for another 15-20 rinsed and did an all over gloss of 6/77 and 7/77. Her ends were a mix of a level 7 & 8 old color so i used 10 vol to really push the color in there.

Brought this cutie back to life 🤗
