Hi every body, am so exited we found a new home!
All changes are good,
So, we are ready to start our new “chapter”

Mixed feelings
Today was my last day working at 212 wall st, Huntington NY.
The first day I’ll never forget 26 years ago my boss said “ don’t worry you’ll learn the language, few weeks later he said” don’t worry you’ll get used to answer the phone”. I used to hide in the bathroom, every time the phone rung. I hated the first year. But then little by little y learned to love it, little by little felt I belonged there, then it was my second home. Even though sold it 5 years ago, I still felt it was my second home. Today I said goodbye for good.
Am also exited to start e new chapter in my life, a new place, but hopefully same clients, same town. ( same language, thank God). ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Well this is an exiting post!!!
Tha last few days had not been so great, as you all know.
But am happy to tell you that I found a new “ home” for work. In Huntington village, ( I promised, parking is not so bad) I’ll be there Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, starting next Wednesday the 30th. Is a nice little shop, not as big as EJ’s but nice and confortable. I’ll be calling everybody to confirm appointments. This is on 9 Green st Huntington village. Hopefully transition will go smoothly.

Hi everyone, this is not a happy post!!!
Unfortunately the shop where I’ve been working about 26 years is closing its doors.
For 10 years I work as a shampoo girl, then I owned it and EJ Salon was born. I work as a hairdresser for another 10 years, after that I sold it and I rented a chair from the new owners for another 6 years.
But COVID-19 didn’t give us a break and the new owners have to close.
I was informed last week the would close in 30 days, but few hours ago I learned they are closing next week.
So to all my costumers and friends I want you to know that am looking for another place, am not quitting ( never) I’ll keep you post. I’ll be calling you for appointments scheduled for the next few weeks.
This is not a goodby. HUNG IN THERE. Thank you

If someone asks me what I would like to be in another life, I would say “exactly the same:
A hairdresser”
It’s a wonderful feeling to know that people appreciate what you do , and also understand that everyone is hurting in one way or another.
