So yesterday, I was able to do what I enjoy doing best—making other people happy! 😄😄😄

Her MUA canceled on her last minute and her mother sent me a desperate SOS text. I had literally just gotten home after driving 4 hours all over the city servicing my scheduled clients. I really wanted to sit down, chill and drink a screwdriver, LOL, but, duties call. 😌 And yes, I absolutely put my business and clients above my needs. And yes, they dictate my calendar and take priority. I am not married and don't have kids, a dog, cat or pets. I only have to worry about myself and can be spontaneous.

After we discussed rates, distance and time, her mom said, I have to do what I have to do since my child is literally sitting in the car balling tears 😭😭😭 right now on top of running behind because her hairstylist overbooked, which is another topic btw... 🙄😒😑 She said you know we hate when people let our babies down. And I told her although I was not blessed with motherhood, I completely understand those sentiments. I am a grown adult Brat to the core and could not imagine someone inconveniencing me like that.

So, I drove another two hours there and back to service her daughter for prom and we totally bonded! Her daughter has the biggest heart and sweetest personality. It truly blessed my cold little heart, lol! She was so pleased with her look and that just made my day! 🤗🤗🤗

When I walked in, her grandmother said, "Thank you for saving the day." When I tell you their level of gratitude and appreciation penetrated my soul, I mean it! It reminds me as to why I do what I do. Sure I love makeup and being creative, but most of all, I love seeing the sheer look of joy and satisfaction on my clients faces! 🥰🥰🥰

At the end we all hugged and just had a moment. Her daughter told me that me and her mom should become friends so she can see more of me. If that ain't the cutest thing, I really don't know what is! 🥹🥹🥹 Not to mention, her mom's best friend's name, who could not be there, was Brittany too. How ironic is that?! They said, you were meant to be here. 🥰😍🤗

When you book you are booking more than a makeup session. You are booking a therapy session, a bonding hour and support system to help bustle you into your dress, zip you up and fix your crown all while vibing to music in the studio I bring to you! ❤️💄💋
