I LOVE using water with ink! It is one of the most fun, and easiest, techniques there is and results are amaze balls!
One stencil is hiding in your stash right now, and it can make you a dozen completely different backgrounds. Most of us buy a stencil, use it once the obvious way, and forget it, but that same stencil will give you soft blended color, crisp graphic panels, and a heat resist that looks like magic, depending on how you use it.
In my newest video I walk through all of it, how to get background after background out of one stencil, a little color wheel talk so your combos actually sing, and the colored heat resist technique I cannot stop using. You already own more than you think you do.
