Kamela + Jomar’s wedding last weekend outdoors at the foot of Cayuga Lake was absolutely the coldest ceremony I’ve ever officiated! But they warmed my heart with their spirit, laughter, and sincerity. And kudos to them for being able to put rings on each other’s fingers when we couldn’t feel our extremities! 💗❄️

What a way to end the 2025 wedding season - a brisk early morning walk for a magical elopement at the base of the falls, complete with dogchild 🐶. Many thanks to all the couples who entrusted me with shepherding them through this rite of passage this season. I’m grateful, ready for some rest, and excited for next year 💗

What better way to celebrate my wedding anniversary than by officiating the wedding of my two good friends, with my husband and dog serving as witnesses?! Congratulations, Matt + Briana!! 💕

In just a couple hours Abbey + Sabrina will be saying "I do" and I'll be proudly rocking the bracelet they made for me. So sweet! I get to work with the best people!! 💕

Dear Sophie & Jason, as we said in your wedding ceremony, "May you see a hundred forests, take a hundred walks in the dark, eat a hundred different types of scones, have a hundred different bougie coffees, and argue about the definition of a thousand different words. May you fall ever more deeply in love as your lives continue to entwine together. And may you always feel safe in one another’s arms."

Amy’s mom rooted this willow from a cutting from their property - a place that in many ways represents the future that Yuzo and Amy want together, full of plants and animals, forest and creek. As they planted the cutting together, I shared these words:

"Amy and Yuzo, cultivating this willow, like cultivating your marriage, will require patience and care. Put it in a place it likes, give it enough attention that it may thrive, and allow for its branches to grow and its roots to expand.

Like this, may you cultivate your relationship with tenderness and care, nourishing it with love and communication, and allowing for growth. May this tree gift your life with beauty, and, like the willow, may your marriage stay rooted, strong, and flexible, and may it bring equanimity and renewal for all your days together."
