Taking care of your skin isn’t always about finding the perfect potion (although we do get pretty excited about a clean skincare product 😉). Healthy skin starts from within. 🫶🏻

Here’s a great weekend recipe for grain-free granola loaded with glow-boosting nutrients, minerals, and antioxidants. Tastes great alone or on top of plain Greek yogurt. Enjoy! We know your skin will!

Grain-free Chocolate Chip Granola

Ingredients

* 1 cup raw almonds, roughly chopped
* 1 cup raw pecans, roughly chopped
* 1/2 cup raw walnuts, roughly chopped
* 1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
* 1/2 cup ground flax
* 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
* 1/4 cup maple syrup
* 1/4 cup coconut oil
* 2 tablespoons hot water
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips (dark or semi sweet)

FOR THE AIR FRYER:
* Step 1�In a large bowl, combine almonds, pecans, walnuts, coconut, flax, salt, cinnamon, and half the chocolate chips.
* Step 2�In a small bowl, whisk together oil, maple syrup, water, and vanilla. Pour over granola mixture and toss to coat.
* Step 3�Line air-fryer basket with parchment paper, then add one half of the mixture (depending on the size of the air fryer). Cook at 350°, stirring halfway through, until granola is golden and crispy, 6 to 7 minutes.
* Sprinkle the remaining half of chocolate chips over top while it cools.
* Repeat with remaining granola mixture.

At Desert Hippy Skin Co. our rosemary is grown at the foot of the big red mountain in southern Utah. We harvest, clean, and process it all in house. 🏜️

Not only are we able to control the quality of the rosemary this way but we ensure each batch undergoes a thorough natural cleansing process to prevent bacterial growth in our products. It is then dried in the warm desert sun until ready to use.

Rosemary is anti inflammatory, antibacterial, anti fungal, and has antioxidant properties that help support hair growth and scalp health. You can guess where this product might be HEADed. 😉
