There are famous people you admire, and then there are people whose story somehow become a part of your own story. Dolly was that for me. Ive always felt a connection to Dolly. She proved small town girls CAN do big things! Speaking of BIG- from the hair, lashes, and bigger than life personalities we truly could’ve been related. I’ve never been a “less is more” kinda girl and Dolly gave us all permission to be unapologetically ourselves! She was BEAUTY & BRAINS! Passion with purpose and such a positive role model for so many of us!
Dolly, I’m so proud of the incredible human you were! Thank you for showing us that love, kindness and being EXTRA will never go out of style. May you rest in peace Queen!
