I’m not in my office most of the time.

I actually travel quite a bit for my clients, and sometimes my massage room looks a little different than what you might expect.

I’ve been traveling to massage this sweet man for the past few months, and with his family’s permission, I get to share this photo.

He has dementia, and his wife has told me that massages have always been one of his favorite things. Every month, I get to spend a little time with both of them, and I can honestly say they are two of the most phenomenal people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.

This is one of the reasons I love what I do.

Massage isn’t just for athletes.
It isn’t just for sore muscles.
It isn’t just a luxury.

Sometimes it’s about comfort.
Sometimes it’s about connection.
Sometimes it’s about giving someone a little bit of normalcy and relaxation when life looks very different than it used to.

And sometimes, it’s just about making someone feel cared for.

Everyone can benefit from massage—including those who may not be able to come into a traditional massage office.

I’m incredibly grateful that I get to bring my work to people who need it, wherever they may be. 🌿

And getting to know clients like these two along the way? That’s the real privilege. 🖤

Between work, kiddos, life, and everything in between, social media has definitely taken a backseat for a little while. But don’t worry—I’m still here, still massaging, and still helping y’all relax and escape the chaos. 💆🏻‍♀️✨🌿

One year ago I took a leap and opened The Kales Escape.

I didn’t know exactly what it would become— I just knew I wanted to create a space where people could breathe, rest, and feel cared for.

365 days later…
I’ve met the most incredible clients, built real relationships, and created exactly what I had dreamed of.

Thank you for trusting me with your bodies, your stress, your stories, and your healing.

Year one was just the beginning. I appreciate each and every one of you.
I can’t wait to see what this year holds for all of us!🖤

I’m ready for warm weather! That being said, all appointments today have been rescheduled due to the road conditions. Y’all be careful if you decide to get out.
