***Update on our mother***

Just left the hospital. Basically mom is going to be there for at least a few weeks. The surgeon said if they attempted the bypass right now, she wouldn’t survive it.
So they want her there as long as possible to continue to get stronger. Then they will discuss the surgery with her. They are going to start weening her off of sedation and see how she does. She lasted a half an hour this morning on a low dose before her blood pressure started rising.
So it’s basically a matter of playing this day by day and getting her stronger.
If the surgery ends up not being an option they will discuss stents in two arteries because one is just completely damaged and wouldn't be possible to stent.
I can’t say thank you enough for everyone’s kind words, sharing the gofundme and for the donations. Knowing what I know now, this is very much needed to help her and my little brother financially while she gets through this. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Some of you may already know this.

My mother hasn’t been online since Tuesday because she suffered a heart attack over night on New Years Eve. She was rushed to NLH where they were able to get her stable and breathing ‘ok’ on her own. The following day she was transferred to Ellis Hospital to have a cardiac cath test procedure done to see if she was a good candidate for triple bypass surgery.
When they started the procedure she suffered another heart failure. They got her stable after a few hours and had to sedate her. And they have kept her sedated since. We will know more tomorrow after the surgeons assess her progress.
In the meantime, I have created a gofundme fundraiser for her because Avon and other online ventures are her main source of income so right now there is no income coming in.
