Winter has passed. The era of hiding beneath layers and pretending your skin isn’t fighting for survival has ended.

This is your seasonal reminder that exfoliation is self care, public service, and basic village responsibility.

Please stop shedding like an ancient woodland cryptid.

You deserves soft skin.

I should probably be making soap right now…

…but this is Phyllis.

She started as a simple cutting years ago—no plan, no intention.

And somehow…she became the beginning of something.

Most of the time, I’m creating products.

But every now and then, I go on a side quest and get pulled into something slower…something quieter…

Phyllis — The First of Her Line

Quick update on the volcano batch 🌋

It may not be pretty, but it’s still good soap.

Since this volcano batch is still safe and usable, it just doesn’t meet my standards, I’ll be donating it once it’s cured instead.

I hate wasting perfectly good soap and would rather see it go to good use!

So there I was, up front on a completely unrelated side quest, when I heard it…hissing. Naturally, my first thought was: cool, a pipe just burst.

I run to the back…and nope.

It’s the soap…At ~190°F.

Not just overheating…this batch was actively trying to become lava while carving valleys and trying to build mountain vents like it had somewhere important to be.

So yeah—not a plumbing issue. Just a full-blown soap volcano out here doing world-building and choosing violence.
