It comes from being the one who remembers.
The one who anticipates.
The one who keeps the peace.
The one who checks on everyone else.
The one who holds everything together while quietly telling herself, “I’m fine.”

This Sunday, August 16, I invite you into the Sacred Sanctuary Sunday Gathering™ for the beginning of a powerful new 3-part series:
THE INVISIBLE LOAD

Emotional Labor, Nervous System Burnout & the Return to Self

We begin with Part 1 — The Weight, a sacred conversation about the responsibilities women carry that often go unseen, unspoken, and unacknowledged.

We’ll explore emotional labor, mental load, over-functioning, the pressure to be “the strong one,” and what can happen in the body and nervous system when you are constantly caring, planning, fixing, managing, anticipating, and holding space for everyone else.

And perhaps most importantly, we will begin asking:
What am I carrying that nobody sees?
You do not have to arrive polished.
You do not have to have the answers.
You do not have to take care of anybody in the room.
Come exhale.
Come be witnessed.
Come remember what it feels like when, even for a little while, you are not the one responsible for holding everything together.
