What the spf? 🧴

here is what the rating on your spf bottle actually means

I will note: anything above an spf 30 doesn’t make that huge of a difference on how much protection you’re getting

For example an SPF 30 allows about 3 percent of UVB rays to hit your skin. An SPF of 50 allows about 2 percent of those rays through so the difference is literally 1%

Rule of thumb: always reapply your sunscreen every 2 hours to prevent premature aging, skin cancer, and sunburns

And at the end of the day, the best sunscreen is the one you will wear 🩷
