A little Toffee Nut + Caramel swirl Balayage moment for 🤎

Balayage doesn’t always mean bright blonde! We transformed Giselle’s hair this week from a grown out Balayage with a red color over on top to this fresh new look!

All I thought while blowdrying + styling was that I wish I could just copy + paste onto my hair 😍🤤

Thank you for allowing me to create this look for you Giselle! YAY to no more red 💁🏻‍♀️✨

We’re ready for the warmer weather, sunnier days, and brighter lighter Balayaged hair! ✨

We celebrated the Queen’s very special Birthday over the weekend 💕

I had a very important + special client for ✨Hair + Makeup✨ on Saturday, MY MOM 💕

I think as a daughter, and being the oldest one, it’s very bitter sweet to see my parents also grow.. older lol

It makes me so so happy and proud of everything they’ve gone through and accomplished in their own unique journey, but also a bit sad because well they’re also growing with time just as I am

I am so thankful to God for my mom, she knows that, but I think this year also I was able to truly get to know the woman she is along all her flaws and struggles. And that made me realize that she’s really not just my mom but also her own self, her own woman. Which grew in me a little extra/different type of love for her that I guess I didn’t have before.

Long story long, I love you mom, I hope you enjoyed your Birthday celebrating all day with all of us 🤍

P.s I totally forgot to take pictures of how I did her Hair + Makeup so this was the best one! She was sooo happy and excited for me to pamper her and make her feel like the Birthday girl 💕 except she said no lashes

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

It seems like this weekend was so special and eventful not only for my family but many other families & couples as well!

Spent this morning catching up on my Turkish tv drama show (iykyk) while drinking my coffee, and of course replying back to emails + messages ✨

I worked with a very special client over the weekend for her Birthday and I can’t wait to share with you some of the beautiful pictures we captured!

Also… I’m so excited for March, finally Spring time is peeking through! Anyone else? 🌷

To Balayage or not to Balayage? ✨

If you’ve been in my chair, you’ve probably heard me mention “Balayage, Highlights, Teasylights” etc etc

Then majority of times I get this question right afterwards, “Crystal, so what the difference between all of them? Which one are we doing for my hair?” ✨

In all honesty, they’re all about the same! Years ago, you probably were only able to get one “type of style.” Wether they were pure streaky chunky highlights, or an Ombré style which literally only your ends were blonde without any blend

Thank God now there are sooo many different styles, techniques, and variations on each technique style to help us stylist create the look you’re going for!

Many of my girls also ask me, “well which one are you using for me?” And that is such a great question because sometimes, or many times, depending on what you decide, we end up doing 2-3 style techniques for you!

Don’t worry, if you don’t really know much about this or all the technical terms, that’s totally okay! My job apart from creating your hair goals color is also to help guide and navigate you through the entire process!

My goal is also for you to feel as confident and comfortable during such an exciting transitioning and transformative appointment! Because honestly, we all need a little confidence guidance when it comes to doing something totally different, right? ✨

We took Jessica’s 24mo out grown blonde hair to the next brunette level! She wanted to keep the Balayage style going but transition to a color that would compliment + blend with her natural color ✨

We also cut all the dry ends for the softest feel 💇🏻‍♀️

Chaman wanted to freshen up her hair and add more bounce and volume, so we added a couple face framing layers + curtain bangs and this totally leveled up her look!
