I can't believe its almost June! I remember I was so excited to turn 30 thinking that it's going to be the most exciting year yet...and guess what?! It still is! Although we have to face the limitations of the pandemic, we still can choose how we live our everyday. As things are starting to re-open in the city, I almost feel sad that my days at home are coming to an end! 😅 I've actually enjoyed picking up things that have been always been at the back of my mind! I've finally finished my older adult fitness course! I've learned how to sew more! I've taken online dance classes and starting to pick up dance again! I've practised a bit of guitar! I've tried recipies and baked every week! And the list goes on! Now it seems like a great opportunity to equipt myself to bless more. When I look back, it turns out that this year so far has been still abundant and enjoyable! Although there is darkness in the world, let's strive to continue to be the light that shines in darkness!
This picture was taken in a museum in Paris! I am so thankful that I got to go before everything got locked down! We dont know what the new normal will be...but let's continue to pray!

Here comes another abs exercise! RUSSIAN TWISTS:.
1️⃣ Start sitting on your mat, sit up nice and tall and lean back till where you feel your abs are working. Cross your arms and stick those elbows out.
2️⃣Lift your feet off of the ground and try to touch your right elbow to the mat on your right side (as far as you can go)keeping the same arms and legs position.
3️⃣Bring your arms back to centre and try to bring your left elbow to touch the mat on your left side. Bring back to centre and repeat!.
Modifications: keep your heels on the ground to make this easier; try to go slower with pauses to make this harder or hold a weight!.
This is a great move for the obliques and helps with the range of motion in your torso! There’s so many variations for this exercise but this is my favourite!.
Sneak peak of lazy bunny in the background! We filmed this on the Golden Princess during our cruise!😆.

SCISSORS! This move (and this word) always kills me!! Tough on the abs and tough to spell!! My clients love to hate this move and I think it’s awesome!.
1️⃣Start with back on the mat, legs pointed to the ceiling above the hips. (Tip: press lower back into the mat to tighten the abs).
2️⃣ Lower one leg down without touching that leg to the mat, bring the leg back up.
3️⃣ Drop the other leg the same way and switch, switch and switch. I usually do 16 reps (8 reps on each side) and repeat once or twice per class.
Modifications: make it easier by bending the knees or put your head down on the mat and lay your arms by your side.
This is a great move for your core, glutes, quads and adductors!.
P.S. Happy Belated Canada Day! There was no class on Canada Day so better do a few rounds of this this move! ✂️.

Ever felt like you’ve got big shoes to fill or that you are sitting in a spot that’s bigger than usual? Sometimes when I take up more for God I feel overwhelmed and feel stressed out! Feeling so small and incapable...but I give thanks that every time I turn to the Lord He reminds me of His true image! His character is One who is encouraging and continues to see my potential, but is patient to understand my weaknesses. When I exercise my faith to see this I feel excited to take on whatever He sets in front of me and own that big seat! He sees me as the one who sits on the throne with Him and puts in all effort for me to get there!.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Jeremiah 29:11 ESV.
Btw Congrats to all those who graduated! Faith on in God’s plan!.

Happy Global Wellness Day! This week I haven’t been feeling that well physically but wellness is more than physical. What’s most important is that my spirit feels fulfilled. I made an effort recently to spend more time outdoors for a walk with God or just to spend more time with Him in the morning. My spirit feels nourished and restful. On the other hand, being more disciplined with my spirit made me more disciplined with my body. I squeezed in an extra workout this week with a free class with at ! It was awesome and so glad that I made effort to go! Makes me want to sign up for a dance class! “for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.”

Lazy bunny and I just came back from our first ever cruise! It was so fun with amazing views. Surprisingly we felt much more healthier on-board and unintentionally lost weight! Here is what we learned:
1️⃣Take the stairs and refuse the elevator! It takes so long to wait for the elevator anyways, we would walk or sometimes run up and down the stairs. It was a great workout especially when we got lost! Our step count and floors climb were way above our average of when we were on land!
2️⃣ Join activities that involve physical activity! I loved all the exercise and dance classes on-board. That was pretty much the focus of my schedule. I did abs class in the morning, line dancing in the afternoon and ballroom before dinner. It was lots of fun and I broke a sweat multiples times in the day. On days when dancing wasn’t available, lazy bunny and I hit the gym after the show at night.
3️⃣Indulge in fruits and vegetables! Food was so easily accessible on-board, we just ate whenever we felt a little hungry. However, we indulged mostly in all the fruits and salads that were already prepared and cut up for us. We haven’t eaten that many fruits in a while. It was delicious and didn’t make us feel guilty for eating a lot. But of course we had multiple servings of dessert everyday!
4️⃣Bring a water bottle/tumbler with a straw! We got one with a infuser part so we could put fruit in it and infuse our water. We also put ginger to help with our seasickness. We carried our water around everywhere and refilled it whenever we could. I think the fact that we had a straw helped us to drink lots of water...and the fact that we didn’t have to worry about washrooms as they were easily found around the ship!
Side note: I also took my B12 and probiotics everyday. Never felt bloated and was regular ✌🏼.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! It takes so much love and dedication to raise up a child. I treasure my bunny mommy for teaching me how to love and how to live according to God’s will. There is great peace and harmony when we share the same values and love God together. This is true closeness and true relationship with one another. Glad that she also participates in my older adult fitness on Thursdays! It’s cool to have your mom to be part of your class!
It’s been a while since I’ve given my mom a homemade card. Trying to learn calligraphy and pick up this skill!

What’s your gut telling you? I’ve always had good gut feelings about things, but not so much in my physical gut. Since young, I have not been regular, but can eat as much as I want. I always knew this was not healthy but my body didn’t feel any effects until recently. I had food poisoning 2 times and stomach flu once in these 1.5 years. I’ve also felt sudden tiredness throughout the day. Researching about this, I decided to give probiotics a try. I’ve been trying to incorporate kimchi and other fermented foods into my diet. Today I started to take a probiotic supplement accompanied by a vitamin B12 supplement which aids in absorption of probiotics. Hope to document this trial and will update how it goes!.
