Transformation time! This girl had been bleaching her hair for many years and was ready for something new! I did a full head of lowlights with a medium warm brown and then toned her remaining blonde to a light caramel color. I added a root stretch to blend her natural hair into her new color for a seamless blend!

Let’s talk about silver hair. This girl started at a natural level 5, with no previous color in her hair. I her hair with 30vl developer to bring her up to a warm level 8. I left a blue mask on her hair at the sink, and then toned her down to an ashy grey level 7, with an extra ash violet kicker. I made her no promises when we started. She knows she will have to keep getting it toned to keep her grey fresh. Grey/silver hair is a big commitment both of time and money. It is a high maintenance hair color and requires touch ups. Always be open to your stylists suggestions, and work with them to come up with a hair color that fits your lifestyle as well as your preferences.

Color correction time!! This girl had attempted to bleach out a red box dye and ended up with a very warm uneven color. I did a full head of and went in between the foils with a medium ash brown to get rid of the remaining orange color. Then I did a purple mask for and completed the process with a color melt to blend all the lines for a seamless, multidimensional cool result! She ended up losing several inches of length to maintain the health of her hair and ended up with a whole new look! @ C&C Unisex Hair Design
