Second Chance 21013

I was laid out in the car everything limbs free, except my hair was pinned under the car. My head was thru the windshield. I was conscious at this point and therefore after. I don't remember hitting the ditch, just remember something was wrong with my hips and my shoe was off on my right foot and my foot was just leaned to the left. I knew something was definitely wrong with it. I was airlifted to the hospital. They sent me to surgery, when I woke up my ankles were wrapped up. I still had no clue about my face tho at this point. But they had already fixed it up. Later that week I had surgery on my hip. I had a little therapy at the hospital but then I got sent to rehab which is where I am now. Recovering! They have basically deemed me independent with everything except, I can't walk. I'm non weight baring until further notice. I'm just waiting for the Dr. approval so that I can try to walk again. Til then I do my therapy, keep everything stretched out and pray I'll be able to try walking in the very near future!!! The pics of my face, I juts got those about 2 weeks ago. The whole time I had no idea my face was that bad. I couldn't feel it. I never felt any pain in my face. I even touched it when I got to the hospital. I asked them was that meat I feel lol. They said yea but didn't say anything else. When I saw the pics I busted into tears and thanking God. At that point I realized just how serious my accident was. I just couldn't believe that's how my face looked when I got to the ER God had blessed their hands to do such a good job at fixing it up! It's healing well. Just have a few problems with my left eye and will need surgery.
