Hey y’all! Remember this client? 👀 A few months back, he came in for a loc detox only, letting me know he prefers to maintain his own locs and has been self maintaining for at least 8 years. When it comes to his crown, he doesn’t just trust anyone... and today, he trusted the kid with his root work! ☺️🙌🏾
The Process:
🧼 The Cleanse: Started with a deep clarifying wash and a soothing scalp treatment to get his canvas perfect.
✨ The Root Work: I opened up those roots and pre separated the locs to make the crochet process go more smoothly. Then I got to work getting those roots completely together using my golden crochet needle which was gifted to me at the Loc Workshop in Dallas hosted by and !
💨 The Finish: Wrapped up his service with a steam to the body of his locs using the steamer that was also gifted to me at the Loc Workshop.
He came for the detox, stayed for the root work... who knows, maybe he’ll trust me to do the full body work next time! 😉👑✨
