Black Soap 06/11/2023

This did well at the Farmers Market, so we're going to keep making it. We might run out, but we are making more.

Black Soap Black soap, made with shea butter, coconut oil, and palm oil. Smells like lavender, rosemary, and lemongrass. Grounded floral aroma, potently cleansing and conditioning, this is a unique soap for t…

We will be at Farmers Market tomorrow, June 10th. Some folks know this exquisite little deviation as "Black Soap."

We replace our normal olive oil with an odorless shea butter, use coconut and palm oils for the rest, along with lavender, lemongrass, and rosemary plant extracts as olfactory components. It's black because of a rather small amount of very fine cosmetic grade activated charcoal.

We initially made this stuff on demand for a salon in Utah. They bought 50 bars of this back at the end of 2019. This stuff is fresh off the rack, only 4 weeks cured and perfect for those who understand it. It does leave some black stuff behind on fabrics and soap dishes, but because it's soap, it all cleans up no problem.

It's official. Klamath Soap Works is almost coast-to-coast. Morning Glory Natural Foods in Brunswick, Maine now has our stuff on the shelf. Much thanks to the good people there.

Working on more stuff. Soon I'll show how the soap is made.
